Cambridge ESOL cross platform cd-rom’s
Having previously worked with Cambridge ESOL on their FCE Candidate cd-rom we were delighted that they chose videotrader to produce two further cd-rom based projects to be included in their English learning certificate publications which are taken by over 2 million people in over 130 countries worldwide.
The CD-ROM’s produced deliver video & audio content, as well as pdf’s and word documents allowing users of multiple versions of Windows and Mac OSX to easily access content that supports the learning process when used in conjunction with the books.

Silent Arena Promo Video
A Silent Disco is a new and unique concept sweeping the UK that does away with the traditional speaker systems used in nightclubs or festivals and instead issues visitors with wireless headphones that allow the wearer to choose to listen to one of two live DJ’s performing at the event.
SilentArena, the UK’s premier Silent Disco providers, asked us to produce a short video showing the basic concept of a silent disco for their website. We filmed the event at the UEA LCR on the 19th Feb 2009.

Compound archery DVD
We are currently producing a compound archery instructional DVD for Bowstring Media. The DVD is presented by Liam Grimwood & Neil Wakelin who are both members of the Great Britain compound archery team.

We shot the video at night using our Sony XDCAM-EX1 HD camera and lit the scene using our portable studio lighting rig. In order to achieve good quality audio we used a mixture of Boom mounted and wireless tie mics.
The DVD is currently at the final editing stage and we’ll post more news as it progresses.
The short clip below is a draft idea for the opening sequence of the DVD.
inter village games DVD
client: Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk
We were contracted by the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk to make a short DVD promoting a sporting event held each year in King’s Lynn called the inter village games. The event is put together by the councils Sports Development Unit who needed the DVD to send to communities who might be considering taking part in the games.
The video was supplied on DVD with a subtitle track and as encoded files in various formats to allow it to delivered via the Internet.
