Paul Joy
Back in the early nineties I was employed as a graphic designer, creating marketing material for a small art tools company. I was becoming increasingly interested in the Internet and how use this new medium to market products. In those days it was all about animated gifs and client side html, most people hadn’t heard of the Internet then, let alone websites!

A year or so later I started working for Norwich based ‘new media agency’ soup. During my time at soup I specialised in Flash development and headed up their flash & motion graphics department. We got to work on projects for some great clients including Fujifilm, Virgin & Norwich Union.

In 2006 I developed a passion for video production and almost a year later decided that after nearly ten years the time was right to leave soup and start my own company which could offer services that combine both my flash and video production skills, videotrader was born.

The need for interactive video applications is growing ever stronger and because we’re able to shoot the video content and create the supporting applications ourselves we’ve been able to provide these services to some very prestigious clients. We’ve also been very busy shooting and producing event and product videos,  many of which you can see elsewhere on the site.

Sylvia Bradshaw
I left art college in 1996 unsure of how I was going to use my creativity to form a career for myself. After a brief spell working in a small arts company I received a job offer from Eastern Counties Newspapers where I became a mac operator and worked on the picture editing team.

After a few years at ECN I then moved to London and worked for a publishing company in Dartford doing layout work on on range of magazines & designing ad space content. I soon began to miss the countryside though and after a year I moved back to Norfolk and went back to ECN as page finisher & picture editor.

Being involved in videotrader has been exciting from day one, we thrive on being able to produce innovative solutions for our clients. Like any creative team we often have to deal with short deadlines and last minute requests, but we pride ourselves on being able to meet our clients needs, even if it does mean losing the odd nights sleep or a weekend or two!

Having been a keen photographer for many years I’m currently working on expanding our range of photographic services and have recently launched a new website at www.sylviaphoto.co.uk.
